Integration System

The integration system implemented in the 1960s made it possible to consolidate chain production, harmonizing the activity of breeders with that of slaughterhouses.

It is estimated that 90% of Brazilian industrial poultry farming is under the integrated system between producers and slaughterhouses.

This integration consists of permanent support to poultry farmers with the advice of agronomists, veterinarians, agricultural technicians, supply of balanced feed, and day-old chicks.

Producers are responsible for raising the birds in accordance with the best production practices and in accordance with the strictest standards of animal welfare, biosafety and health. These rules are closely monitored by the integrating companies, ensuring the traceability of the product from the farm to the consumer’s table.
